The initial intake session fee ($150) is due in full at the time of service. While we file insurance as a courtesy, payment for therapy services is expected at the time of service for the entire balance that your insurance company is not paying. Once insurance has responded, payment for the full remaining account balance is due within 45 days. We will happy to place a credit card on file to assist with this process.
For psychological assessment services, including evaluations for learning disorders and ADHD, the costs typically run between $800 and $2,500. For those evaluation, $160 will be due at intake, $500 will be required at the second visit, and $another 160 will be due at the feedback session. The full balance will be due within three months of the feedback session. We will refund any overpayment after settlement from the insurance company. We will happy to place a credit card on file to assist with this process.
Regarding forensic assessments, consultation and evaluation fees are billed at a rate of $200/hour. The fee for a full evaluation (including interviews, record review, psychological testing, and written report) can vary based on the length of time needed to complete the evaluation. Payment of a retainer fee ($1400) is required in advance before beginning work on evaluations and full payment is required prior to the release of the completed written report.
Although we are not in-network with any insurance providers, as a courtesy to our patients, we will file most insurances. Whatever amount insurance does not cover, patients are responsible for paying in full within 45 days from the date that we hear from the insurance company.
Once an appointment hour is scheduled, you will be expected to pay for it unless you provide 48 hours advance notice of cancellation. It is important to note that insurance companies do not provide reimbursement for cancelled sessions.
